This archaeological site showcases the ingenuity of an ancient hydraulic civilization, with an intricate network of artificial moats winding through well-preserved ruins. Around the pond, explore the remnants of an arama, complete with a stupa, an uposathaghara (monastic ritual hall), and a cankamana patha (promenade for walking). Discover ancient residential cells, or parivena and pasada, as well as a janta ghara bathhouse and vacca kuti lavatory, each bearing witness to a time when architectural mastery met spiritual devotion amidst nature’s tranquil beauty.
