At Tea & Experience Factory, we take pride in our commitment to preserving nature’s essence. Our hotel rooms are thoughtfully designed to restore the initial concept of the Tea Factory, offering guests a serene and immersive experience. By integrating tea production machinery within the rooms and other areas, we invite visitors to witness the fascinating art of tea-making firsthand.

Sustainability is at the heart of our construction process, where we strive to reduce our environmental footprint. Embracing the principles of upcycling, some of our materials are sourced from upcycled waste, creating an eco-friendly environment that aligns with our dedication to sustainable practices.

Walk with us into the wild and let’s explore stories of survival, strength, and quiet beauty from Sri Lanka’s wilderness, captured through the lenses of Dushyanth Silva, Milinda Wattegedara, Mevan Piyasena, and Raveendra Siriwardena.

This exhibition is a collaboration between Alliance Française de Kotte in Colombo, Thema Collection, Connaissance De Ceylan, and the Wilderness & Wildlife Foundation.

Recently, our team at Amba Yaalu Kandalama came together for a meaningful Shramadana campaign, collecting 9kg of plastic, 10kg of polythene, and 15kg of glass bottles and cans. A few of those discarded cans found a second life, and they’re now bright little homes for some growing saplings!!
