Nestled in an eco-friendly space of absolute peace, the property captures the authenticity of the art of Sri Lankan Ayurvedic treatments, inspired by the local Ayurvedic prescriptions handed down from generation to generation. Today, these 3000-year-old therapeutics are followed precisely as they were in the days of the grand monarchs, by in-house specialists who identify and treat the ‘dosha’ (defects) conditions of guests. Sri Lanka takes pride in a fully established line-up of medical services which encompassed the elements of nature, as evident in historical texts and inscriptions on rock surfaces – and has been the base of this unique retreat which resulted in the combination of the modern, yet an eco-friendly ambience of the property.
