Community–Based Health Projects

Helping Strengthen the Resilience of our Local Communities
Image

At Ayurvie Sigiriya, giving back to the host community is an integral part of our sustainability initiatives. Through community-based health programs, we focus on improving the health and quality of life for the underprivileged in our local area. Our team of qualified Ayurveda doctors and physicians conducts regular free health camps, providing traditional Ayurvedic treatments and medicines to those in need. Additionally, we address vision-related challenges by distributing free spectacles and offering comprehensive eye tests, ensuring that marginalized members of the community have access to essential healthcare services.

We value the sense of community at Ayurvie Sigiriya, and our commitment to making healthcare accessible is a top priority. By extending free health services, we aim to foster a stronger, more interconnected society, where the well-being of every individual is valued and supported. Through these initiatives, we create a positive social impact, empowering the underprivileged with better health opportunities and a brighter future.

At Ayurvie Sigiriya, we believe that by actively engaging with and supporting our host community, we can collectively build a more sustainable and compassionate society. By addressing the health needs of the marginalized, we strive to uplift the lives of those around us, fostering a culture of care and inclusivity that leaves a lasting, positive legacy for the entire community.

Stories of Survival | Wilderness in Focus is now open at Alliance Française de Colombo until 14th May, from 9 AM to 5 PM!

Walk with us into the wild and explore stories of survival, strength, and quiet beauty from Sri Lanka’s wilderness, captured through the lenses of Dushyanth Silva, Milinda Wattegedara, Mevan Piyasena, and Raveendra Siriwardena.

We were honoured to open the exhibition yesterday with the presence of Prof. Ruwan Ranasinghe, Deputy Minister of Tourism; Mr. M. Rémi Lambert, Ambassador of France to Sri Lanka and the Maldives; members of SLAITO; and many other distinguished guests from the industry.

This exhibition is a collaboration between Alliance Française de Kotte in Colombo, Thema Collection, Connaissance De Ceylan, and the Wilderness & Wildlife Foundation.
