Community–Based Health Projects
At Ayurvie Sigiriya, giving back to the host community is an integral part of our sustainability initiatives. Through community-based health programs, we focus on improving the health and quality of life for the underprivileged in our local area. Our team of qualified Ayurveda doctors and physicians conducts regular free health camps, providing traditional Ayurvedic treatments and medicines to those in need. Additionally, we address vision-related challenges by distributing free spectacles and offering comprehensive eye tests, ensuring that marginalized members of the community have access to essential healthcare services.
We value the sense of community at Ayurvie Sigiriya, and our commitment to making healthcare accessible is a top priority. By extending free health services, we aim to foster a stronger, more interconnected society, where the well-being of every individual is valued and supported. Once known as the Kabaragalla Tea Factory, Tea & Experience Factory holds a beautiful little piece of Sri Lanka’s tea story. Back in 1883, at the very first tea auction, it was only Kabaragalla tea that was sold. Today, the factory has been transformed into a hotel, but its story still lives on right here at the property, in the old spaces, the tea-making legacy, and the charm that still lingers within its walls.
