Did you know that the majority of the staff of Wild Glamping Gal Oya comprises the Vedda people of the area who are involved in the construction process of the establishment? We believe in enhancing the lives of locals in the region by employing them at the property.

At Wild Glamping Gal Oya, we not only aspire to make a positive impact on the environment but also on the lives of local communities, including the Adivasi people in the area. Guests who opt for a stay at the property can interact with the indigenous people involved in farming activities and other daily chores at Wild Glamping Gal Oya – this makes a glamping experience at our property educational, too! In fact, more than 90% of the property’s staff include indigenous people and other members from the neighbouring communities.
