At Wild Glamping Gal Oya, we take great pride in our commitment to supporting and uplifting local communities, particularly the Vedda people who are indigenous to the area. We firmly believe in providing employment opportunities that enhance the lives of the locals, empowering them through meaningful work. As a result, the majority of our staff at the property comprises the Vedda people who have actively participated in the construction process of our establishment.

Beyond our dedication to environmental sustainability, we strive to create a positive social impact on the lives of the indigenous community and other locals in the region. When guests choose to stay at Wild Glamping Gal Oya, they have the unique opportunity to interact with and learn from the indigenous people involved in farming activities and daily chores at our property. This transformative glamping experience offers an educational aspect, where guests can gain insights into the culture, traditions, and way of life of the Vedda people and other community members.

In our pursuit of social responsibility, more than 90% of the staff at Wild Glamping Gal Oya are members of the indigenous community and neighboring communities. We firmly believe in the value of inclusivity and diversity, and we strive to create an environment where every staff member is treated with respect, dignity, and fairness. By actively engaging and involving the local community, we foster a sense of belonging and ownership, creating a resort that is truly a reflection of the rich heritage and warm hospitality of the region.
