The BERI Initiative

Realising the depth of Sri Lanka’s biodiversity

The BERI initiative is our latest CSR project. The project seeks to conserve Sri Lanka’s biodiversity through resolutions reached via research.

BERI encourages and promotes research. The project aims to establish four research centres at four different locations in the country. In the hopes of solving the dwindling biodiversity of the island, we like to invite local and international students, researchers, and other interested parties to learn about Sri Lanka’s biodiversity. This is also our attempt to eliminate the lack of research into Sri Lanka’s ecosystems and identify solutions for the environmental challenges we face on a daily basis.
