With the reopening of the outbound Chinese travel post covid & the inauguration for inbound flights to Sri Lanka from China, we believe the Chinese market has the potential to be one of Sri Lanka’s leading source markets once again. In line with this demand for authentic Chinese cuisine too would increase. In view of catering for forecasted high influx of Chinese guests in the country, region, as well as at Aliya Resort & Spa at Sigiriya, the management has recently refurbished its’ Chinese Specialty Restaurant ‘Makara’ with a capacity of 80 covers & recruited a Chinese National Chef who could produce authentic Chinese cuisine for Chinese Guests visiting the Cultural Triangle. We introduce Mr. Su Mingxiang from Henan Province – China who is a Specialty Chef in Chinese Cuisine with more than 34 years of hands-on experience in China and Sri Lanka.
