Meander along back roads bordering the Valaichchenai Lagoon, a bustling hub of regional fisheries. Explore a century-old Hindu Kovil, observe fishing vessels setting sail for nightly expeditions, and immerse yourself in Valaichchenai's vibrant markets. Indulge in local snacks and extend your visit to churches and Hindu temples along the route. On the return journey to Maalu Maalu, explore the R.e.V Computer Center, where free community computer classes are supported. This 3-hour, 16 KM ride on gravel and tar roads offers a glimpse into the harmonious coexistence of various religious communities in the region.
