Good to Know

Seeing the herd of baby elephants during feeding time at the elephant transit home is a special experience. You will love witnessing the chaos of the clumsy and playful baby elephants trying to beat their mates to be the first in line for feeding.

We recommend the experience on the way to Kithala if you are travelling from the Highlands or leaving Kithala after an early breakfast.

Finishing the day off with a safari will be the perfect complement to the transit home as you will get to see the herds in the wild.
